Course Description

One-on-one training with one of our private instructors. Students will review shooting fundamentals and techniques in the classroom before shooting a 50-round range qualification.

Prerequisites: None
Cost & Time: $150 / 90 minutes for one person. Each additional person is $75 (up to 4 people)
Additional Needs: 50 rounds of ammo

Cancellation Policy

Classes are non-refundable, however may be transferred to a different date if contacted PRIOR to 72 hours of course.

Students rescheduling classes within 72 hour window will forfeit 50% of registration fee.

John has been shooting since the late 70’s. It has always been a passion . He was a professional shotgun shooter, touring the country from 2015-2018. John’s instructor journey began with shotguns in 2008. He became a certified pistol instructor in 2020 and has been with the Fletcher Arms team ever since. John is dedicated to teaching people at any level. Book a lesson with John here:

Patti Kennedy, a “Well-Armed Woman” Instructor

Patti started her career in Law Enforcement in 1986 with the Waukesha County Park Police. She joined the City of Brookfield Police department in 1988 as a patrol officer. During her service there , she had the privilege of being a K9 officer. In 1995 she transferred to the Town of Brookfield Police department, again serving as a police officer, and stayed there until her retirement in 2012. Patti also worked for the Wisconsin State Fair Police on the mounted unit and retired in 2016 with 28 years of service. In addition, Patti taught at Waukesha County Technical College in the police academy and police in-service and now works at the firing range as a safety officer.

Patti grew up in a hunting home and was introduced to long guns (pellet and shotgun) by her father. When hired by the Waukesha County Park Police, she went to the range hesitant and nervous about shooting a handgun. With patient and thorough instruction, she became knowledgeable and proficient - and that confidence followed her through her career.

In recent years, Patti was approached by several ladies at church and asked to teach them how to shoot pistols. They were interested in learning to shoot for various reasons, but intimidated to learn from their husbands. That series of lessons created two ladies who love to shoot! One woman even went on to create a large berm at her country home so she can shoot at home!

After the initial group of “church ladies”, Patti was approached by several other women individually and asked to introduce them to shooting. This prompted her to become an NRA certified basic pistol instructor and create Confident Shooting Instruction, LLC. She is also a Certified Well Armed Woman Instructor.

Patti has a passion for empowering new shooters with the knowledge and confidence to shoot a handgun proficiently and safely.

Patti also enjoys shooting sporting clays with her family and friends.
