For the first time ever, private citizens have access to training from Armament Systems and Procedures (ASP) — a legendary provider of defensive tools and training to law enforcement officers and agencies around the world. Be Your Own Defender (BYOD) is the first and only training program of its kind. It was created, refined and tested over several years, by ASP’s international law enforcement training team. BYOD teaches key principles of personal safety, focusing on the use of the ASP Defender® OC (pepper spray) device. ASP developed this class to teach street-proven skills that can help you avoid becoming a victim. The standard 2 to 3-hour BYOD program is a moderately physical class that is suitable for people of just about any age and ability.
